what is a curly cut?

A curly cut is a DRY haircut tailored to your natural curl pattern. It allows your hair to be cut in its natural state, where curls naturally fall, without the surprise of shrinking too much. This method enhances your hair’s true texture and shape while preserving the right amount of length. Unlike a wet cut, which can double the shrinkage, a dry cut ensures a balanced and more accurate finish.

how do i come in for a curly cut?

Please come in with your hair down in its natural curl pattern. Fully dry. Minimal to no product. No clips, hair-ties, buns, ponytails or hats. Please check the service description for further details.

do you do men curly cuts?

YES. Anyone is welcome! A New Client curly cut is for anyone over the age of 6 to book. All curl patterns and textures. The only service we DO NOT provide is clipper cuts, NO fades.

do you do kids curly cuts?

YES. However, kids curly cuts are considered AGES 3-5. It’s an expressed 30 min service, which WILL NOT include a wash & style. Why? They tend to not sit for very long nor fit in the shampoo bowl. We do not take children under the age of 3 for any service. Kids cuts are limited to certain stylists.

Where can I cancel/reschedule?

If your appointment has NOT yet been accepted, then you have the ability to make changes through square yourself. If your appointment HAS been accepted then please reach out to the number that sends out reminders, which is (855)-539-9164. Please cancel/reschedule 48hrs prior to appointment. Please check our policy for further details and fees!

What if I no show or same day cancel?

No-shows or same day cancellations WILL be charged the full service! No-shows will not be able to book any further appointments, even with another stylist. We respect your time, please respect ours.

Can I book a consult and color the same day?

Unfortunately no. Color consultations are mandatory prior to booking color/highlights etc. We want to ensure the best communication for your color goals and health of the curls. We will help guide you on choosing the correct color service, whether that’s highlights, hair-paint or all over colors.

do you take consultations over the phone?

There will be some exceptions depending if you’re a previous client. However, you will still be charged the consult service price.

can I bring someone with me into my appointment?

Children under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by one adult. 18 and over parent/guardian can be there for the consult but will be asked to wait in the lobby for the duration of the service. No extra children, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, family members will be allowed in the room. We have limited space as other stylists may be working.

do we accept after pay?

Unfortunately we do not.

Do we do branded cuts like rizo/deva?

No, these are brands that provide some education and tools to help a curl specialist but it isn't needed. We are trained to cut curls in its natural state to enhance natural curl pattern and create a shape that’s suitable for you and your texture. Similar techniques just not branded.
